Also, the four hosts of the TARC podcasts this year are having a predictions pool. Each week, each person will rank the teams remaining in a power rankings style. From this week on, there is a new points scheme in play. It is now more crucial than ever to correctly predict the results of the leg – if one team is placed in the correct place, the person who picked them in that place will receive one point. For two teams in the correct spot, they get three points, three teams in the correct place is worth six points, four teams in the correct place is worth ten points and all five teams in the correct spot earns fifteen points. As a result of this, there are no longer any bonus questions, other than predicting where the non-elimination leg will fall. The person who has the highest score at the end of twelve legs wins internet points, and the loser may be eliminated from the podcast.

Last week, Michelle & Eamon both put Brian & Cynthia in fifth place, earning them five points. Logan gained six points, thanks to his fourth-place guess for Brian & Cynthia as well as two bonus points for correctly guessing that there would be no classic US task. Michael’s third-place pick of Brian & Cynthia was the worst of the week, but his two correct bonus guesses saved him and earned him top spot for the week with seven points, leaving the current scores as Michelle (54), Eamon (54), Michael (51) and Logan (49).

The five point bonus question is as always, “Will this episode feature an elimination?”. Each person gets two guesses (as there will be two episodes that do not feature an elimination) – everyone has now guessed a non-elimination leg once, and there are only two legs remaining where it could fall. Anyone who does not guess a non-elimination this week will automatically guess it next week, and assuming the non-elimination does not fall on this week, anyone with a guess unused will automatically earn five points next week.
